Who Is Jax&Milly

Hi followers old and new! Welcome to Jax&Milly Boutique Hair Studio and Barber, my name is Tahnee and I am the owner and operator of our beautiful Donnybrook WA salon.

 

A lot has changed in my life since I opened Jax&Milly in 2015 in Townsville North Queensland so here is a little get to know me.

 

I am a crazy coffee loving Super Proud Mumma of 4 beautiful equally as crazy kiddies - Jaxon, Amelia, Lucas and Finn. I opened Jax&Milly in Townsville North QLD, May 2015 and I have spent some time operating in Brisbane before moving to Western Australia and our family settling in the beautiful town of Donnybrook. The name comes from my 2 oldest children Jaxon and Amelia, the support from my amazing husband and kids has always been second to none, so representing them in my space was aways something special, it is a true space born from love and admiration for my family.

I am an old school stylist with old school values, I have over 23 years industry experience within the hairdressing and barber industry. I believe in making solid connections with those that grace my chair and trust me with their hair.

I am a no nonsense pretty straight shooter that has a passion for creativity! What do I absolutely love to do in the salon? Colour!! Using Evo Hue-Verse has been an amazing game changer in the salon, I have loved seeing the transformations of colours over the last few months, introducing the Evo range to the salon has been fantastic, the longevity of the colours as well as the shine and creativity they have bought is second to none, being a gluten free range, it has not only helped my scalp and skin but also many of the new clients coming in. Finishing a new cut and colour or a transformational new style cut with a fantastic blow out would be my second favourite thing to do.

I am loving the vibe in my beautiful salon and meeting so many new people, I love making connections and getting to know you, your hair and everything you hope and dream, my space is a safe space where I am dedicated to you and your hair journey.

The salon is currently open Monday to Thursday with general hours of 9am to 4pm, online bookings are welcome as well as calling to make a booking, late nights are available twice a week. Feel free to pop in anytime to view our range or have a chat about making an appointment, whilst walk-ins are always welcomed availability can sometimes be limited, however I will always try my best to accommodate.
